Here’s a little trick that works great to help you write targeted articles for you blog using terms that are currently being searched. This will help increase your SEO without a lot of back-links.
Open up a Google search and put in a “seed” keyword. A seed keyword is a general term for your niche.
Once you put in a seed keyword and the have a list of URLs, look in the left column toward the bottom under “All Results” and click on the “Wonder Wheel”.
This brings up a bunch of related keyword terms in a “wheel” around the seed keyword. (see the screen shot below). You can then click on these related keywords to get even longer tail keywords to help tighten the search results. The more specific the keyword phrase the better it will work for SEO purposes.
Just take the first layer of results to create blog categories. Then as you go deeper by clicking on each category, just use the results to create articles to go under that category.
In the example below, pet supplies is the seed keyword. Pet grooming supplies, Pet medications, pet supplies designer & pet supplies wholesale would be the categories. When you click on Pet medications, this will bring up a bunch more keywords that you should use for a variety of articles to go under the Pet medication category you’ve created.
This technique works extremely well for those in affiliate or product marketing online but can be adapted to any type business.
