How to Use Color to Influence Buying Decisions: infograph

We all know that color is a visual stimulator that can influence our decisions both positively and negatively.  For instance Red carries positive connotations of power (the power tie), Passion (valentines day), Love (heart) but also negative ones like anger (red in the face), danger (stop sign) and others.

Because color is an influencer, it’s import for anyone in business to understand how to use the various colors to help their customers make buying decisions.  As an example have you ever seen a sales letter headline in brown?  Of course not!  It’s usually always red because red because it’s a attention grabbing power color.

You don’t have to be a graphic designer to have a need to understand how color influence clients buying decisions.  If you write copy or sales letters, color plays a role as well; red headlines, green for buying decisions etc.
